Rules and Code of Conduct

All attendees must be at least eighteen (18) years of age with valid ID to attend DomCon Atlanta.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the Exhibit Hall, Workshops, Main Convention Areas or Play Party. Anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied entry to any and all convention events.
No one under the age of 21 is permitted to consume or purchase alcoholic beverages at any DomCon Atlanta event. Valid Identification will be required and must be shown to all bar staff upon request for any alcoholic beverages at any event associated with DomCon Atlanta. Anyone under the age of 21 who is discovered to be consuming alcoholic beverages during any of the DomCon Atlanta events may be removed from the event and denied admission to DomCon Atlanta without receiving a refund of any fees previously paid.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

Still photography is allowed by all attendees during the convention events except The Saturday Night Play Party. Video cameras will NOT be allowed within any event without prior expressed written consent and valid Photo Pass. DomCon Atlanta reserves the right to remove and/or deny further admission to the convention and/or to any or all of its events to anyone using a video camera without expressed written consent and a valid Photo Pass

Models reserve the right to deny any person an opportunity to take their photograph. If anyone wishes to photograph a model, they must ask that model or her authorized representative for permission to do so in advance. The only exception to this rule is if it has been announced that photographs are allowed of certain models in a designated area of the convention room. Please always respect a model's privacy. Attending the convention does not imply that all models wish to be photographed.

All demos may be photographed unless specified otherwise. Anyone taking photos and/or video of a demo where photography is not allowed will be asked to leave and may be denied access to any other
DomCon Atlanta event.

NON-SANCTIONED DomCon Atlanta 2005 ACTIVITIES
Mistresses and Models reserve the right to decide whether or not they will participate in any BDSM, bondage or bondage-related events or photo shoots at the convention. Mistresses and Models are personally responsible for their own welfare and safety during their attendance at DomCon Atlanta. Mistresses and Models are encouraged to report any problems they encounter with photographers, producers and/or fans to a member of DomCon Atlanta staff, venue management, and/or  local police.

DomCon Atlanta, its staff, its members, nor the co-sponsors of the convention or any convention-related events shall be responsible or liable for any claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any transaction or occurrence that takes place in a private hotel room or between private parties attending the convention.

Mistresses and Models entering into agreements to be photographed privately are strongly encouraged to check the references of the person they are dealing with, to have someone they know and trust with them during any private photo shoot, and to resolve all issues of compensation before beginning a private photo shoot.

 

DRESS CODE AND CONDUCT

- No full nudity in Convention Hall or Hotel  Cocktail Parties. No exposed genitals in Convention Hall or Hotel Cocktail Parties.
- No fully exposed nipples in Convention Hall or Hotel Cocktail Parties. - All models must be wearing at least a thong and bra (of opaque material), a bikini, a one-piece bathing suit, or bodysuit in Convention Hall and Hotel cocktail parties..

All dress must remain "vanilla" , meaning acceptable street attire and/or casual clothing outside of DomCon Atlanta and other DomCon Atlanta-related events. Violation of the Dress Code may result in an attendee being denied entry to the DomCon Atlanta and absolutely no refund of any fees previously paid will be given.

ALL pre-registered convention attendees will be issued a convention badge, which they must wear or carry with them at all times while in the Exhibit Hall, during all cocktail parties, and during all convention organized events.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering into the convention site, attendees agree and understand that DomCon Atlanta, its members, its staff, its temporary employees, co-sponsors of the convention or any convention-related events are not responsible or liable for any claim, action, damages, costs or other expenses including, but not limited to, personal injury, wrongful death, or property damage suffered by any attendee during the course of the convention.

Without exception, all convention activity shall take place within designated areas of the facility or in private rooms.

Convention badges ad wristbands will be given to everyone registering for DomCon Atlanta. Convention badges must be presented upon any request made by any member of DomCon Atlanta, its staff, volunteers, and convention management or management of the venue where a DomCon Atlanta-related event is being held.  Presentment of the badge will be required from all seeking to enter into any convention events. No one will be admitted into the convention without a valid badge.

DomCon Atlanta reserves the right to remove and/or deny admission to the convention and/or to any or all of its events if we reasonably believe that a person is disruptive or presents a danger to the well being of the other attendees of the convention. If anyone is so removed from the convention, no refund of any fees previously paid shall be given. Re-entry to the convention also will not be allowed.

If a convention guest or participant is found to have disrupted
DomCon Atlanta or the normal operations of any venue related to DomCon Atlanta, or in any way becomes unruly or fails to abide by the Rules and Code of Conduct, DomCon Atlanta grants the venue authority to have any such person (or persons) removed from the premises. In the event of such action being taken, there will be absolutely no refund of any fees previously paid.

As per California law, smoking is not allowed within any public indoor venue. Smoking is permitted outside of all venues in areas designated for smoking.

Flammable liquids of any kind are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall.

DomCon Atlanta is not responsible for any changes in a Mistress or model's schedule. The list of Mistresses and models appearing on the Special Guests page of the DomCon Atlanta web site is tentative and based on written confirmations that have been received via e-mail. If a Mistress or model named on the Special Guest page decides that he/she will not be attending the convention, DomCon Atlanta will make every effort to update the page accordingly. In no case shall DomCon Atlanta be responsible for any Mistress or model's last minute decision not to attend the convention.

Mistresses, models and persons attending
DomCon Atlanta are expressly advised that this is a public convention and one likely to be attended by various members of the press and electronic media. Accordingly, photographs and video footage of Mistresses, models and attendees may be recorded by members of the media covering the convention. DomCon Atlanta, its members and its staff shall in no way be liable to any Mistress or model or attendee if the Mistress,  model’s or attendee’s likeness is recorded by any member of the print or electronic media.

All persons who participate in any Workshop or Demo during the convention weekend shall be required to execute a Release prepared by
DomCon Atlanta which shall expressly provide, among other things, that participants in any workshop or demonstration release and discharge from liability DomCon Atlanta, its members, agents, employees, representatives, associates, and owners for any and all claims and demands arising from the participant’s involvement in the Workshop or Demo including claims for damages, costs, expenses relating to personal injury, property damage or wrongful death. No one will be permitted to perform a demo or participate in a workshop without having first executed the required Release.

RELEASE AND DISCHARGE FROM LIABILITY - By voluntarily participating in and/or attending a demo or workshop at DomCon Atlanta, I the attendee and/or participant do hereby release and discharge from any and all liability, DomCon Atlanta, its members, agents, employees, representatives, associates, convention staff, and hotel/venue owners, its members, agents, employees, representatives, associates, owners, and corporation, as well as the class instructor/demonstrator for any and all claims and demands arising from the participant’s involvement in the Workshop or Demonstration including claims for damages, costs, medical expenses, expenses relating to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death. I further agree that anything taught or demonstrated during any workshop or demonstration has been done by professionals in their field, and should not be re-created or attempted without first understanding the proper safety measures. Furthermore, if I do attempt to recreate anything I have been shown or taught, I personally accept all risk and liability for any claims for damages, costs, medical expenses, expenses relating to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death that could possibly occur and release from liability any and all parties listed above. By signing my legal name upon registration, I, the participant and/or attendee, do hereby agree to all of the terms stated within this release and discharge the above named from any and all liability.

Full Access Pre-Registered Attendees of
DomCon Atlanta must wear their badge to gain admission to any and all events scheduled by DomCon Atlanta in conjunction with the convention.

DomCon Atlanta, its staff are not responsible if attendees have lost and/or misplaced their admission ticket to the convention or any of the events they may have purchased a separate ticket for. Further, DomCon Atlanta reserves the right to deny admission to any attendee claiming to have lost or misplaced his or her admission ticket to any event.

DomCon Atlanta reserves the right to alter, add, or modify any and/or all of these General Rules at its sole discretion.

DomCon Atlanta reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone.
